This Howard Core Conservatory 42 (C42) double bass is fully carved with a spruce top and maple back and ribs, finished in a golden-brown varnish with violin corners. The tailpiece was made by Henri Gross (Bass Violin Shop). Well-suited for advancing students, or someone looking to get into the carved bass world at an affordable price. It is brand new and has been set up with a new adjustable bridge and Pirastro Obligato strings.
