In addition to our repair and instrument making, we offer services tailored to meet the evolving needs of the double bass community.
Flight Cases:
We have two solid bass trunks that we rent for travel. One is a David Gage flight case and a the other is a Stevenson fiberglass case.
Stevenson Dimensions: 84″ x 32 1/2″ x 22″
Each case rents for $150 a week.
Prefer to buy your own? We stock a few solid trunks, as well as removable neck versions. Please reach out!
Short Term Bass Rentals
We understand that not every bass player can bring their instrument on the road, or may prefer to avoid the challenges associated with transporting a double bass. This is why we offer short-term bass rentals. If you’re in the D.C. metropolitan area, we can provide a bass for your performance tailored to your needs. You can choose to pick it up directly from our shop, or we can conveniently deliver it to you or your venue (just be sure to arrange this in advance!). Our diverse selection of basses is expertly set up to cater to all styles, from jazz to baroque and everything in between.
