Designed by Arnold Schnitzer and Wil deSola, the New Standard La Scala combines an Italian-inspired outline with modern construction, comfortable upper-register access, and a large, professional-quality sound for both arco and pizzicato playing.
This bass was originally built with a removable neck, but it has since received an excellent neck graft by Sam Morel of the Finlay+Gage shop.
Included with the sale is a Jean Auray removable-neck flight case in good used condition.
Both the bass and case have been thoroughly gone over here in the studio and are ready for many more years of work!
